How Long Does Hyperpigmentation Take to Go Away?

Hyperpigmentation can be hard to treat but does not necessarily have to take a very long time to go away.  Many of our customers tried for years to remove melasma, dark spot, sun damage, dark scars, etc. and nothing has worked for them but our super concentrated skin lightening products.  Our products are used by people as a last resort to removing very stubborn and hard to lighten dark spots and dark patchy skin.

What is the Exact Timeframe for Removing Hyperpigmentation

There is no exact timeframe for hyperpigmentation, especially very hard to lighten and stubborn dark areas, but depending on which product you use, you can speed up your results.  Dark spots, and patches did not appear overnight and won't disappear overnight but here's how you can speed up your results.

How to Get the Fastest Skin Lightening Results Possible

1. Exfoliate at least once a week.

Exfoliating using a brightening scrub speeds up cell turnover by removing dead skin from the surface of the skin so that the bright, new skin underneath is revealed.  This ensures that the skin lightening product that you apply won't sit on the surface of the skin and not work or penetrate the top layer of the skin.

2. Cleanse twice daily.

Keeping the skin clean will also help to accelerate the results that you get in terms of removing dark patches of skin.  Use a cleanser that features natural fruit acids to make sure that the skin is prepped and ready for the skin lightening cream that is applied.

3. Use a brightening toner.

Applying a toner also helps to get you to the end result faster than you thought possible.  Using a brightening toner with aha's and applying it to the face using upward strokes, further ensures that the skin is fresh, very clean, and ready for the next step.

4. Apply a skin lightening cream.

This of course is one of the most important steps in lightening hyperpigmentation of any kind.  The best product to use is one that is more concentrated or a strong bleaching treatment.  Apply it twice daily and the first results come in about 5 days for more stubborn and hard to lighten areas of hyperpigmentation.

5. Apply sunscreen.

During and after treatment for hyperpigmentation removal, it is important to protect the skin from the rays of the sun.  Using a brightening sunscreen is the best way to do this.  Apply it daily before going out in the day for best results and make it a habit for best results and in order to avoid the dark spots, patches, and dark areas of skin from returning.
