In short, it is not always easy to tell a quality product just by looking at the packaging, make sure to check the ingredients of the products that you're using to make sure the ingredients are not harmful.  Do not use any product that contains hydroquinone, mercury, parabens, and any other ingredients that are harmful.  Use quality products that have been around for years, have many reviews, and most importantly where you can contact someone at the company either via live chat or telephone to ask which product is best for you.
