Using Aloe Vera for Natural Skin Lightening

Using Aloe Vera for Natural Skin Lightening

Aloe vera For thousands of years, aloe vera has been regarded as one of the best when it comes to alternative medicine. It has been used for constipation, burns, and skin irritation, among others. It was also popular amongst people who are looking for natural skin lightening products. It contains a wide array of naturally-occurring compounds, such as in the case of anthraquinone, which is basically the one that is responsible for the removal of dead skin cells. It also has antibacterial and antifungal properties, allowing the skin to get rid of impurities that can make it darker.

 How to Use Aloe Vera

In order to optimize the effects of aloe vera when it comes to natural skin lightening, it should be mixed with other ingredients that can prove to be equally effective. For instance, you can have it combined with lemon juice. Mix one teaspoon of aloe vera gel with one teaspoon of lemon juice. Use your finger and dab the mixture on your face, especially in dark spots. Massage it gently and leave it overnight followed by rinsing.  Or another option is a skin lightening product with aloe as one of the first ingredients listed such as the 20X Gel Creme.

Milk and honey can also be mixed with aloe vera for effective natural skin lightening. It is going to effectively control melanin, and hence, preventing the skin from being darker. Aloe by itself does reduce melanin production but is even more effective in combination with other natural skin whitening ingredients.  Simply mix one teaspoon of aloe vera gel, one teaspoon of milk, and half teaspoon of honey. Apply and massage on the face. Leave it for the night and rinse when you wake up.

For natural skin lightening, apple juice can also be effective. As in the earlier mentioned, simply mix apple juice and aloe vera gel. Have it applied on the face, and the morning after, rinse with warm water.  It may not produce a very noticeable lightening effect such as a more potent product but it will begin the lightening process.

You can also consider brown sugar and aloe vera mixture for natural skin lightening. The good thing about brown sugar is that it can act as an exfoliating agent because of the unique texture, allowing it to get rid of impurities on your skin.
